It was a very odd evening on Monday. We started our tries on Sunday for RoS and we got phase 1 down to a good solid routine with all 25 people surviving.

We then learnt phase 2 and by the end of the raid, had got a grip on phase 2 and was going OK.

I saw Monday as being a wipe evening as everyone told me how hard phase 3 was, esp without nature or Shadow pots. The plan for the evening was to do 2-3 phase 1 & 2 reminder tries then really focus on phase 3. "Well, I do not need to fraps all those wipes" I thought. I had taken some fraps images on Sunday for the start and positioning of a kill video and figured I would have to wait a while before it looked good enough for me to load up fraps for phase 3.

I was wrong.

Along comes Monday, did 2 learning tries reminding us of phases 1 & 2 and Sak learnt the rage burning techniques needed for phase 3, whilst healers sussed healing tactics for the SR tick. On the 3rd try, we wobble on phase 1 and have a few deaths. We use combat rezzes and do a flawless phase 2. Sak then does some perfect tanking, healing is good and we lose 12 people by the time he dies. I was in shock. And missed the Fraps kill. And died.

Was a superb effort and was really pleased with the focus and learning showed.

Gratz guys and gals, and we will kill the Mother S next as we are now distributing all the SR gear.

Cheers

Hok
